Case reports

May 7 -- At 7:59 a.m., police investigated a domestic violence case, which originated at a residence on Water Street. The alleged victim made her report at the police department. She was taken to Harrison Memorial Hospital and later Air Cared to Lexington for treatment of a broken neck.

May 7 -- At 9:56 p.m., Kevin Duncan reported that he had been receiving harassing phone calls on his cell phone and home telephone.

May 7 -- At 10:40 p.m., police were called to Parkside Manor.

May 8 -- At 6:17 p.m., Ronald Beagle, Battle Grove Avenue, reported that someone entered his home and took five buckets of copper with an approximate value of $300 to $350.

May 9 -- At 6:57 p.m., two juveniles entered Wal-Mart Liquor Store and one of the juveniles allegedly took two bottles of vodka without paying for them.

May 9 -- At 10:04 p.m., Tanya Rogers reported that someone had put peanut butter, leaves an animal waste on her front porch at her residence on Wilson Avenue.

May 10 -- At 12:28 a.m., police investigated a fight that occurred on Pleasant Street.

May 10 -- At 11:13 a.m., an Oxley Avenue woman reported that she had been assaulted by her sister.

May 10 -- At 1:39 p.m., police made documentation in a child custody dispute.

May 10 -- At 2:21 p.m., an Elmarch resident reported being harassed.

May 10 -- At 8 p.m., Cpl. Walter Tapp reported that while assisting the fire department he kicked in two doors at 153 Elmarch Avenue to get a dog out of the house.

May 10 -- At 8:44 p.m., Janet Kiskaden, North Miller Street, reported that while she was out someone entered her home and took hot dogs and eggs from the refrigerator as well as going through her granddaughters belongings.

May 11 -- At 12:20 a.m., police were called to the area around the Dog House Bar where two black males had allegedly stepped in front of a car while a second made pulled a gun and was waiving it around.

May 11 -- At 12:31 p.m., a Battle Grove woman reported that a 25-year-old woman was having sex with her 16-year-old son. She later told police that she was OK with the relationship.

May 11 -- At 8:17 p.m., Danny Gasser reported that someone through a trailer lock through the window of his truck.

May 12 -- At 9:43 a.m., Rick Chasteen reported that skate equipment had been moved under the shelter house and all the picnic tables taken out.

May 12 -- At 1:10 p.m., a Cynthiana man reported that his juvenile son was being harassed and threatened.

May 12 -- At 8:22 p.m., police investigated an assault that allegedly occurred at a residence on Elmarch Avenue. The victim reported that her boyfriend was drunk and driving around with their child in the vehicle. When she questioned him about it and took his keys, he allegedly pushed her and tried to run her down with the truck.

May 13 -- At 8:15 a.m., Joe Nichols reported that someone entered his vehicle the night before and took a pair of sunglasses, coins and cell phone charger. Sherri Williams also reported numerous CDs taken from her vehicle.

May 13 -- At 1:48 p.m., Robert Walker, school security, turned over a baggy containing a green leafy substance, suspected to be marijuana, that was seized from a student.

May 13 -- At 3:10 p.m., police investigated a report of domestic violence on Riggs Avenue.

May 14 -- At 1:46 p.m., Charles Tumey reported that someone between April 1 and May 7, someone took steel trailer ramps from his yard on Smith Avenue. He later reported that he located the ramps at the recycling center.

May 14 -- At 5:08 p.m., Judy Burns, Pearl Street, reported that she found an RCA television in her yard and that it was not hers. A name engraved on the top was Margie Bowlin. The owner could not be located and the television was put in evidence.

May 15 -- At 10:17 a.m., Jonathan E. Willis, Sycamore Drive, reported that his brake line had been cut on his vehicle causing him to nearly wreck while taking his children to school.

May 16 -- At 2:24 a.m., Gary Riddell, Elmarch Avenue, reported that his 1987 Nissan pickup truck was taken and was later discovered near an accident scene at the Harrison/Nicholas County line.

May 16 -- At 2:28 p.m., police were called to Locust Street where a semi-truck had apparently torn down some utility lines. The driver told police he got lost and that while turning around had torn down the lines.

May 16 -- At 2:45 p.m., Gene Keyse of Wal-Mart reported that Stacy Barnes, who had been banned from the store, was back on the property. She was arrested and charged with second degree criminal trespassing.

May 16 -- At 10 p.m., police were called to a domestic situation on Wateree^Street.

May 17 -- At 12:33 a.m., police were called on a out-of-control teenager call on Main Street. The teen and mother were both allegedly intoxicated and fighting.

May 16 -- At 3:13 a.m., a juvenile male reportedly threw ignited firecrackers into the common area of the Smiser Apartment building.

May 17 -- At 4:30 p.m., Harry D. Batson Jr., Miller Street, reported that someone had keyed his Honda Pilot.

May 18 -- At 1:17 a.m., police investigated a possible attempted suicide involving a 17-year-old girl visiting from Mexico.

May 18 -- At 7:10 p.m., police investigated an possible attempt to get into the Cynthiana Baptist Day Care. A double-paned window was broken, but it appeared nothing was missing.

May 18 -- At 8:40 p.m., during the course of a routine traffic stop, police suspected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Police arrested Justin Doyle.

May 19 -- At 5:34 p.m., a Lafferty Pike woman reported that her 17-year-old son came home from school intoxicated.

May 19 -- At 8:56 p.m., James Herrington, Poplar Street, reported that someone broke into his home and took two televisions and two air conditioner units.

May 19 -- At 9:14 p.m., police were called to a domestic violence situation on Cherokee Drive.

May 20 -- At 7:51 a.m., Leroy Conner reported that someone stole fishing poles and reels from his garage on Third Street.

May 20 -- At 7:30 p.m., James Callahan reported that his dog damaged the front door of his house after a dog that was running loose came near his house and caused his dog to go off.

May 20 -- At 9:02 p.m., police investigated a harassment call involving juvenile girls.

May 21 -- At 4:20 p.m., police were called to Kens for a shoplifting incident.

May 21 -- At 4:47 p.m., police investigated a report of theft of identity.

May 21 -- At 5:03 p.m., police were notified of an alleged victim of domestic violence was being harassed.

May 21 -- At 6:20 p.m., a report was made by a victim who was receiving harassing phone calls.

May 21 -- At 10:39 p.m., police were called to Victory Lane Bar where two females were causing a disturbance.

May 22 -- At 5:05 p.m., a juvenile reported that two bicycles were taken from his yard. The first was taken on May 20 and the second on May 21.

May 22 -- At 5:05 p.m., police were called to a fight on Pearl Street where the subjects were all alleged to be intoxicated.

May 22 -- At 6:55 p.m., Woody Carson reported that he was bitten on the leg by a small Doberman on Elm Street.

May 23 -- At 3:50 a.m., police investigated a report of domestic violence between brothers who had allegedly been fighting over a bug.

May 15 -- At 6:06 p.m., Connie Richmond reported that someone entered her residence by cutting the screen on the front door while she was inside asleep. Taken were a shotgun and a rifle.

May 8 -- Charles J. Marshall, 25, was cited for having no registration plates.

May 12 -- Jeffrey W. Wilson, 40, was arrested on Court Street on a bench warrant for theft by deception.

May 12 -- Lloyd Abbott, 26, was arrested on Old Lair Road and charged with fourth degree assault minor injury, violation of EPO/DVO.

May 14 -- Edwina E. Fryman, 24, was cited on Poplar Street for failure to make a complete stop.

May 14 -- Jose Gomez, 22, as cited on Pike Street for failure to illuminate head lamps and no operators/moped license.

May 14 -- Salvador Somoyed Rivas, 28, was cited on Hillside Drive for no operators license.

May 15 -- Misty B. Fryman, 28, was arrested on Pleasant Street and charged with public intoxication-controlled substance (excludes alcohol).

May 16 -- Stacy L. Barnes, 23 was arrested on U.S. 27 South and charged with second degree criminal trespass.

May 16 -- Charlotte T. Northcutt, 66, was cited on Church Street for disregarding stop sign.

May 16 -- James D. Wilson, 20, was cited on Ladish Road for failure to wear seat belts.

May 17 -- Chastity N. Fryman, 20, was cited on Wilson Avenue for disregarding stop sign.

May 17 -- Alejandro V. Acevedo, 32, was cited on Wilson Avenue for failure to wear seat belts, license to be in possession, disregarding stop sign.

May 17 -- Joshua D. Stephens, 16, was cited on Wilson Avenue for disregarding stop sign.

May 17 -- Nikki N. Wiglesworth, 22, was cited on Wilson Avenue for disregarding stop sign.

May 22 -- Robert McAlpin, 27, was arrested on Elmarch Avenue and charged with alcohol intoxication.

May 23 -- James D. Wilson, 20, was arrested on Elmarch Avenue and charged with fourth degree assault.
