Police have a suspect in custody for the recent theft of items from vehicles and at least one business.
The first call came to the Cynthiana Police Department about 7:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 23.
A woman reported being approached by a suspicious man on Walnut Street. She said she was at the corner of Bridge and Walnut streets getting into her car when a man walked up to her asking for directions to Falmouth. She told police he did not appear to be interested in her answer.
