Pill take back is Saturday

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department will be hosting a pill take-back day Saturday, Sept. 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at their office at the corner of Pike and Poplar streets. Since the program’s beginning, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department has played a part in the removal of several hundred pounds of unwanted medication from Harrison County that may have been discarded improperly or used illegally.
