The Ag Development Board announces the beginning of sign-ups for 2010 Phase I programs. The period will begin on Tuesday, March 30 and conclude on Monday, April 19. This will be the only application period.
The application process will include answering questions concerning your farming situation. After all applications are in, each application will be graded based upon a key which is established by the Ag Development Board.
If you apply for these funds and are selected, you can receive up to $5,000 of cost share money. The award will be based upon a 50/50 reimbursement for the funds. Harrison County will have $320,000 available for producer programs.
Applications will not be available until Tuesday, March 30, 2010. At that point stop by the Harrison County Extension Office and fill out an application. Just a reminder this is not first come first serve program so everyone does not have to apply on the first day. Just make sure you apply by April 19, 2010 at 4:30 p.m.
