Amanda Herrmann of Pendleton County was injured Tuesday morning on her way to Falmouth from Cynthiana. According to Tpr. David Jones of the Kentucky State Police, Herrmann may have blacked out which caused her to run off the right side of the northbound lane of U.S. 27 North. Herrmann was taken to Harrison Memorial Hospital and later airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center. As of presstime Wednesday, she was listed in good condition. Her 11-year-old daughter sustained only minor injuries. Jones said the passenger was restrained while Herrmann was not wearing a seat belt.
