The Harrison County Parks and Recreation Board has unanimously voted for candidates to present for hire.
During the Feb. 18 Parks and Recreation Board meeting, a call to move into an executive session was made to discuss personnel issues.
After a short discussion among the members, the meeting was reopened to the public.
A motion was made by Frank Henson, fiscal court representative, to hire Brad Steele, of Murry, Ky., as the new Parks and Recreation director pending approval by the Harrison County Fiscal Court.
