Owen-Cumming plan spring wedding

Colonel (Ret.) and Mrs. Robert A. Owen announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Chowning Owen, to Alexander Anson Cumming, son of Gregory and Christine Cumming of Fairfax, Va.
Owen is the granddaughter of Mary Howk Owen and the late Robert Owen Sr. of Leesburg, Va. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Va. and holds a degree in Finance and International Business. While at the University of Virginia, she was a founding member and president of the local chapter of the national business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi. She is also a member of Alpha Phi Sorority. Owen holds a Masters Degree in Art History from Georgetown University, Washington, DC. She has worked for several investment firms in New York City, is a Certified Financial Planner and is a Vice President of PNC Wealth Management of Bethesda, Md., a division of PNC Bank.
Cumming attended George Mason University, Fairfax, Va. and holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Marketing. He is a GSA program manager for a satellite communications company in Alexandria, Va. His avocation is building and restoring classic race cars. He is a certified and licensed F2000 race car driver and is a board member of the VOLTA Racing Team.
The couple will wed in the spring of 2012 and will reside in Falls Church, Va.
