The Cynthiana Police Department continues to investigate two fires which occurred over the weekend.
Cpl. Walter Tapp said the fires at 110 and 112 N. Locust St. were intentionally set.
Tapp said there is a person of interest in the two fires who is currently being sought.
The first fire, at 110 Locust, was reported just prior to 9 p.m. Friday night and Cynthiana firefighters were on the scene until early Saturday morning. The next one, next door at 112, was Saturday afternoon.
Tapp said the house at 110 was abandoned and the fire made it a total loss.
