Newsom Avenue man shot during argument

A Cynthiana woman is in jail and her husband is in the hospital after she allegedly shot him Saturday night.
Kerrie Alvarez, 39, was charged with first degree assault, domestic violence, after she allegedly shot her husband during an argument at their Newsom Avenue home about 11:15 p.m. Saturday.
Javier Alvarez was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital Saturday night where he remains in fair condition.
