* Cynthiana Democrat, May 30, 1929 - “A judgment was ordered on the books of Harrison Circuit Court Monday ordering the Commissioners of the City of Cynthiana to meet Tuesday night and grant the Clarence LeBus Estate a permit to build a gasoline filling station at the southwest corner of Pike and Church sts. The residence property on the corner known as the Sue Talbott property and bought by the late Clarence LeBus a few years ago, will be razed. It is said the filling station, to be operated by the Texas Corporation, will cost more than $15,000.
