* Cynthiana Democrat, April 12, 1951 - “The Harrison Hi Thoroughbreds copped their opening diamond encounter when they racked up an 8-2 victory over the Bourbon County Vocational Hi Tuesday at Paris. Billy Switzer was the winning moundsman, allowing only one safety and no earned runs. His slants were stopped by Eddie Whitson. Whitson and Harold Feeback were credited with two hits each and Gasser accounted for a triple. For the losers, Dailey and Pridemore were on the mound.
