* Log Cabin, Jan. 31, 1913 -- “Attorney Harry Bailey Shot to Death - A terrible tragedy was enacted in the midst of a large court day crowd in the heart of Cynthiana, Monday afternoon at about 2:30 o’clock when Attorney Harry Bailey of Cynthiana was shot down by Newt Arnold of Paris and died almost instantly. The tragedy occurred in front of the Farmers National Bank on Pike Street near the corner of Main.
