* Log Cabin, March 24, 1906 - “Interurban Road - An engineering corps composed of the senior class in civil engineering of the State College, Lexington, has begun a survey for an interurban line from Lexington to Cynthiana by way of Russell Cave turnpike. The work being done under the supervision of Mr. W. A. Newman and under direct charge of Mr. Nesbit. The parties who are having the work done are reported to be Eastern capitalists, but Mr. Newman declined to give their names. The proposed line will run through Centerville, Jacksonville, and Broadwell to Cynthiana.
