* Log Cabin, Dec. 12, 1941 -- “4-H Members to Sell Jimson Weed. A letter has gone out to 4-H members in this county from County Agent H.H. Thompson advising that the uncultivated Jimson weed they have been gathering is to be received and weighed at the E. M. Smith and Son hardware store here Saturday afternoon. A buyer-representative is to be here to purchase the offering. Thompson said that the Jimson weed is being used as medicinal ingredient.”
