* Cynthiana Democrat, March 30, 1922 - “The Cynthiana Club of the Blue Grass League closed a contract for the use of LeBus Park, new grounds to be equipped on the LeBus plot on the Leesburg Pike, just across the river from Cynthiana, to the left of the covered bridge. The grounds are known as the former Jo Desha place. Mr. LeBus will construct a temporary foot bridge across Gray’s Run for this year, and later build an iron bridge for both vehicle and foot passengers. Grand stand, pavilion and bleachers will be built that will be the superior of any in the league.
