Memorial fish fry to honor Chief Charles Carson Jr. is Friday

The Harrison County firefighters’ Association will be hosting a memorial fish fry on Friday, June 14, beginning at 10:30 a.m. for the late Charles Carson Jr., who served as fire chief for the Harrison County Volunteer Fire Department and the Harrison County Fire Taxing District.

 The  fish fry will be held at Flat Run Veterans’ Park.  There will be plate lunches, which will include fish, corn bread, coleslaw, baked beans, chips and a drink for $7. Fish sandwiches will be available for $4.
