In the four counties that make up the 78th House of Representative District, incumbent Tom McKee (D) carried three.
Republican challenger Bryan Lutz captured Campbell County where 2,565 people voted in the race. Lutz garnered 1,529 of the Campbell County votes.
McKee claimed his home of Harrison County 4,260 to Lutz’s 2,854.
It was a tighter race in Pendleton County where 598 votes separated the two with McKee pulling in 2,993 to Lutz’s 2,395.
In Robertson County, McKee claimed the victory with 624 votes while Lutz earned 309.
