McDonald’s Restaurants fight back against cancer through Relay For Life fund raiser

Several McDonald’s restaurants from across Kentucky will be serving up hope along with their menu items through donations to local Relay For Life events.
On Thursday, Aug. 16, the Cynthiana McDonald’s will donate 50 cents from each value meal and salad sold between 5-7 p.m.
“We are so appreciative of these McDonald’s for their offer of these donations to Relay For Life and the American Cancer Society,” said Jeni Valentine, Relay For Life co-chair of Harrison County. “These funds will help us create a world with less cancer and more birthdays through the American Cancer Society’s cancer research and also by providing services and support to cancer patients’ right here in Harrison County.”
Several Committee members will now be at your local McDonald’s that day serving the community and promoting Relay For Life. Relay For Life events are held overnight and bring together friends, families, businesses, hospitals, schools, faith-based groups  and others to further the American Cancer Society’s efforts to save lives by helping people stay well, by helping them get well, by finding cures and by fighting back.
