McCann to hold auditions for his 10-minute play

Local playwright, William McCann, who recently moved to Harrison County, announces that auditions for his 10-minute play “Three O’clock” will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 from 7-8:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall at Cynthiana Christian Church, 202 N. Main St. A single performance of “Three O’clock” will be performed on Tuesday, Aug. 21 at 3 p.m. on the Performing Arts Stage, North Wing, at the 2012 Kentucky State Fair in Louisville.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Roles are available for three actors. Also needed is a stage manager to attend all rehearsals and in addition to traditional duties, to document line and text changes.
McCann is a 2012 Master of Arts graduate of the University of Kentucky’s Department of Theatre. He also holds a Med from the University of Virginia and a BA from Transylvania. He is employed at Bluegrass Community and Technical College in Lexington.
Each person involved will receive free admission to the fair and free parking the day of the performance.
