Cynthiana Mayor Jim Brown, 78, had a stroke on Christmas Eve and is recuperating at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
According to Jack Keith, mayor pro-tem, Brown was at his home on Grandview Drive at the time of the stroke. He was taken to Harrison Memorial Hospital, then flown to UK. It’s suspected that he experienced a second stroke while in the helicopter.
