Mattmiller, Keith, New and Moore lead city race

The 2009 version of the Cynthiana City Commission will include two familiar faces and two new ones.

Incumbent candidates Jack Keith and Jimmy New were voted back on the commission. Newcomers will be Mark Mattmiller and Amanda Moore.

Mattmiller claimed the most votes, garnering 1,587 to second-runner Keith, who received 1,479. Filling the third position is New, who received 1,006 votes. Amanda Moore will take up the fourth post. She received 932 votes.
