Martin pitches perfect game in district final win over Nicholas County

-A A +A
By Mike Aldridge

Nicholas County hurler Austin Allison pitched a masterful game against district rival Harrison County Wednesday afternoon.
Unfortunately for Allison and the Bluejackets, a masterful game wasn’t good enough.
Harrison County High School senior Jordan Martin was perfect for the day allowing no hits, no walks and striking out 13 Nicholas County batters in the 2-0 Harrison County win.
Martin’s Thorobreds teammates played error-free ball behind him and the 6-foot-2-inch senior had his first perfect game.
