Mahorney celebrates 100th birthday

Tracy Mahorney, formerly of Cynthiana and now residing in Detroit, Mich., was born to the late Frazier and Amanda Mahorney on Jan. 30, 1911, in Cynthiana. On Sunday, Jan. 30, she will celebrate her 100th birthday with many family members and friends.
Also, she will be celebrating the arrival her first great, great, great grandaughter, Ariyah Wilson, who was born on Jan. 13, 2011.
Mahorney has five living children, Elwood Jr., Jennie, Peggy, Judy, Henrietta; 25 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, 31 great, great grandchildren, and one great, great, great grandchild.
