Basketball has been one answer this winter to the need for a student activity schedule for Licking Valley Campus students.
Tracy Stamper and Trina Shields collaborated with officials at City Hall and worked hard to encourage participation. The opportunity is open for men and women students, staff members and faculty.
Five sessions are on the schedule for this winter’s game times and practices.
The first intramural game was Feb. 7. Others are planned for Feb. 21, March 14 and March 21.
These activity nights are in session for two hours beginning at 6 p.m. Families are welcome as are any member of the community who would like to watch the Hilltop Blues work out winter kinks, build up their breath control and laugh a lot.
Other activities that are on the drawing board for students include Fun Friday with music and entertainment. It is also hoped an intramural softball activity can be scheduled.
