A scam that has been going on for about six months has made its way to Cynthiana.
Det. Alan Judy of the Cynthiana Police Department said a resident received a letter from what appeared to be Publisher’s Clearing House.
The letter claimed the resident was the winner of $2.6 million, all he had to do was call his claims agent to set up how the money was to be delivered.
