City police and sheriff’s deputies helped carry out a lockdown drill at the Licking Valley Campus of Maysville Community College last week. The drill was meant to clarify security procedures in case a shooter is reported on the campus or in the educational building.
Similar lockdown drills are being run at all five Maysville Community and Technical College (MCTC) sites, said Jeff Stevens, director of safety and security at all of the college campuses.
