Northside Elementary student Hunter Griffith, far right, looked out at the large audience gathered at Harrison County High School auditorium to watch the intermediate level of Battle of the Books. Griffith was part of the winning team Wednesday afternoon, with Northside Elementary scoring the most points in the annual event that tests students’ knowledge over the titles, authors, and facts for selected books. The event is hosted by Harrison County school librarians.
