The last words of Jesus to His church

God and Jesus will provide whatever is needed for the people who spend eternity in the new heaven and new earth. Rev. 22:1-5  “And he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the middle of the street and on either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, and yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing (or health) of the nations. And there shall no longer be any curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and his bond-servants shall serve him; and they shall see his face, and his name shall be on their foreheads. There is no night, no need of the sun or lamp, the Lord God shall illuminate them, and they shall reign forever and ever.”

Four times in this book it says “these are the words of Christ” and, “they are faithful and true.” Rev. 22:7 “Behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is he who reads and keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” John was about to worship the angel, but the angel told him to worship God. The angel was the servant of God, just as we are.

Matt. 24:42 and Luke 21:36 tell us to be on the alert and to be ready for Christ’s return. The time is coming when there will be no more repentance.

Rev.22: 12-16 “Behold I am coming quickly and my reward is with me, to render every man according to what he has done. I am the alpha and the omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates of the city.  Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons and the murderers and idolaters and everyone who loves and practices lying. I, Jesus have sent my angel to testify to you these things for the churches.  I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright and morning star.”

Jesus invites everyone who will to come. In the Old Testament, Deut. 12:32, God warns about adding to or taking away from his book. Rev. 22: 18-21 “If anyone adds to this book, God shall add to him the plagues written in this book. If any takes away from the words of this book, God shall take away his part of the tree of life and from the Holy City. He who testifies to things says, yes, I am coming quickly. Amen, come Lord Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you all. Amen.”
