The Cynthiana Chapter of the DAR met in the community room at the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library. Regent Melinda Rawlings called the meeting to order.
The DAR Ritual, Pledge of Allegiance and the American’s Creed were recited followed by singing the Star Spangled Banner.
Parker Groves from Northside Elementary School was introduced. He read his winning essay on the life of Paul Revere. Betsy Clyde presented Parker with the DAR American History Medal and a gift.
