The Kentucky Beef Conference will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at the Fayette County Extension Office in Lexington, Ky. The program will begin at 9 a.m. with registration and the program beginning at 10 a.m.
This year’s program will include two outstanding speakers. Dr. Jeffery Hall, D.V.M. from Utah State University will present a program on use of minerals on our cattle. The second well know speaker will be Randy Blach with Cattle Fax who will predict the upcoming price structure for 2012. Randy has presented programs for several years and in most cases he is correct.
Lunch will be served at noon and the cost for the meeting and meal is $10 per person. If you plan to attend, call the Extension Office at 234-5510 and let us know.
The Harrison County Beef Cattle Association has agreed to pay for anyone who is from Harrison County who is planning to attend the meeting. Let’s have a good turnout and take several from Harrison County this year.
