Kay Brown arrested on charges in Harrison, Lawrence counties

Brenda Kay Brown and her brother Roger Kirk were arrested Tuesday by Kentucky State Police on warrants issued as a result of indictments in Harrison and Lawrence counties last Thursday and Friday.
According to information released by KSP Wednesday morning, Brown is alleged to have stolen and obtained several millions of dollars by various means including the obtainment of CD’s, monetary gifts, property transfers, and unauthorized purchases utilizing the assets of her husband, James Brown, for her personal financial gain.
