Fleming County’s Lady Panthers were having an okay year as, after losing all five starters to graduation from last year, they had a 6-8 record so far in 2012-13.
They improved to 7-8 Saturday night when they were the beneficiaries of some Harrison County Fillies’ misfortune.
The evening started out on a bad note when the Harrison County bus rolled into Flemingsburg at 4 p.m. for a scheduled triple header with the freshmen, junior varsity and varsity.
The gym was dark and no one was in sight.
