Hunters who have not taken the safe hunter education class need to sign up.
The safe hunter education class will be offered July 27, 28 and 29 at the Harrison County Extension Office. The classes start at 6 p.m. and end at 9 p.m. The class is free, open to the public and all materials are provided for each student. You must be 9 years old to take the class.
The classes are sponsored by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife and are taught by Harrison County volunteer instructors.
