Hudgins competes at FFA Convention in Indiana

Tanner Allen Hudgins of Harrison County FFA Chapter, in Kentucky was named a national finalist in the Agricultural Mechanics Repair and Maintenance Entrepreneurship Proficiency award program in July, 2009. Four finalists competed in October to be named the national winner during the 82nd National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind. Hudgins was named the runner-up at the convention this past week.

Proficiency awards recognize FFA members who excelled as agricultural entrepreneurs, employees or volunteers while they gained hands-on career experience. Agricultural Mechanics Repair and Maintenance - Entrepreneurship is one of 47 FFA proficiency award categories offered at local, state and national levels. Agricultural Mechanics Repair and Maintenance Entrepreneurship proficiency award program is sponsored by Briggs and Stratton Corporation Foundation, Inc., as a special project of the National FFA Foundation.
