•Renew Homemaker Dues: $8 mailbox member.

•Little Feet, Big Feet: Sept. 12, one mile walk for children and an adult. Pre-registration of $5 ($10 at the event) will insure a t-shirt and prize. Registration forms at the Extension Office. Event is sponsored by CHP Wellness Committee.

•Butterfly Sweatshirt Workshop: Monday, Sept. 14, 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Extension Office. $10 fee for the class. Call for a list of supplies you will need to bring.

•Quilt Club Fabric Buying Trip: Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 8 a.m. Contact the Extension Office to carpool 234-5510.

•Cooking Under Pressure: Learn to cook (not canning) with pressurized steam heat, Sept. 21, 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. at the Extension Office.

•Learn to Quilt: Sept. 23 at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the Extension Office. New quilters are always welcome.

•Blue Hydrangea Tea Party: Wednesday, Sept. 23, Cynthiana Library community room, 5-7 p.m. Sponsored by the Cancer Coalition.

•Save the Date Door Knob Hangers Workshop: Monday, Sept. 28 at 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., $3 fee for the class. Deadline to register is Sept. 21.

•Bluegrass Area Extension Homemakers meeting: Friday, Oct. 2, Clark County Extension Office, Winchester. The Speaker, Sharon Thompson, food writer for the Lexington Herald Leader will be talking about her new book. Cost is $12 per person. Deadline is Sept. 15. You can carpool from the office at 8:30 a.m.

•Fall Trip: Oct. 5-10, Washington, D.C. and Colonial Williamsburg. Five more people needed for the trip. Contact Brenda Arnold, 206 Moores Mill Rd., Cynthiana, KY  41031 or 234-4610.

•Second Sunday: Will be held Oct. 11 at the Industrial Park from 2-4 p.m. Walk, run, bicycle, roller skates or skateboard. Push or pull a stroller or wagon. No Motorized vehicles allowed. The goal is to have all 120 counties to close a public road and get families out and moving.
