The Harrison County Homemaker Day celebration will be held Friday, May 7 at the courthouse square from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. In case of threatening weather, the celebration will take place at Cynthiana Presbyterian Church, 103 N. Main St.
Homemakers will share cuttings from their plants and bulbs at the Green Thumb Fair. There will also be a bake sale.
New this year are ‘Mixes in a Jar.’
Demonstrations and exhibits throughout the day. A Make-it Take-it craft will be free for all.
The Central Kentucky Blood Center’s Mobile Unit will be on site from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Door prizes will be awarded. Lunch will be served by the Harrison County Beef Cattle Association.
