HMH Auxiliary donates funds to purchase equipment for patients

The Harrison Memorial Hospital (HMH) Auxiliary completed 2013 by raising $24,000 for Harrison Memorial Hospital.
The HMH Auxiliary Gift Shop made a profit of nearly $11,000 and fundraising events sponsored by the HMH Auxiliary raised close to $13,000. All proceeds go directly to HMH for the patients from the community.
In February, the HMH Auxiliary board of directors approved funds to purchase two beds with Tempur-Pedic mattresses for the HMH medical/surgical department.
In addition, the HMH Auxiliary will purchase a convection oven with a range for the HMH dietary department.
In the upcoming months, the HMH Auxiliary will hold several fundraising events, including:

The HMH Gift Shop has several unique items for sale.  During the month of April, the gift shop will feature spring and Easter items for sale, along with purses, jewelry, children’s clothing, stuffed animals and more.
The HMH Auxiliary is comprised of 47 members who volunteer time to the facility. Volunteers are always welcomed.
