Christmas Harrison County Live will sport the talent of not only high schoolers this year, but middle school singers as well.
Harrison County High School choir director Michelle Hassall has always been known to enjoy a challenge and this year’s Christmas HCL is nothing less than a challenge.
On Dec. 7 and 8, over 150 students will fill the stage to bring Christmas cheer to the audience.
“This year we will not only have my high school singers, we have actually added seventh and eighth graders to the show as well,” laughed Hassall. “I must be crazy for doing it but it is going to be a blast.”
Hassall said everything from a Santa song collection to songs about the beach will be sung including 15 solos and ensembles.
“Of course we will have the Christmas classics, but we also wanted to make it fun,” said Hassall. “The show seems to grow bigger every year we do it.”
The shows, which will take place in the Harrison County Auditorium, will be at 7 p.m., on the Dec. 7 and 2 p.m., on Dec. 8.
Admission will be $5 for adults and children over five. Five-years and younger are free.
Concessions will be offered by Harrison County Project Grad.
