Heroin, Oxycodone trafficking top grand jury charges

During the first grand jury session of 2014, jurors handed down 19 indictments, 14 of which were for trafficking in controlled substances.

The bulk of Tuesday’s indictments centered around the sale or possession of heroin and oxycodone. The youngest accused of drug trafficking is 20 and the oldest 52.

Dillan Evans, 20, is faced with a three-count indictment of charges of first degree trafficking in a controlled substance (heroin) on three separate occasions.

A co-defendant with Evans is Cassie Slade (aka Cassie Overly), who is also charged with three counts of first degree trafficking in a controlled substance (heroin).

Bond is set at $5,000 each for Evans and Slade.

Crystal Reece, 26, was indicted on a charge of first degree trafficking in a controlled substance (Oxycodone) first offense, less than 10 dosage units.

Her bond is also $5,000.

Kenneth Collins, 26, also faces a single count indictment for trafficking in a controlled substance (Oxycodone), first degree, first offense and less than 10 doses.

Thirty-two-year-old Marianne Wilder is accused of first degree trafficking in Oxycodone, 10 or more doses. The grand jury charges that Wilder either sold or transferred the Schedule II narcotic drug to another person on Jan. 11, 2013.

Anthony Bowman, 46, is charged with second degree trafficking in a controlled substance (Buprenorphine), second or subsequent offense.

Bowman had previously been convicted of trafficking in a controlled substance.

The grand jury claims that Bowman sold or transferred less than 20 doses of the Schedule III controlled substance. His bond is $10,000.

James McAdams, 49, is accused of two counts of first degree trafficking in a controlled substance (Oxycodone), first offense.

The grand jury alleges that McAdams sold or transferred the Schedule II narcotic to another person on Feb. 25 and March 19.

His bond is also $10,000.

William Sowder, 38, is charged with two counts of first degree trafficking in a controlled substance (heroin), first offense.

Sowder is alleged to have sold less than two grams of heroin to another on March 12 and March 20.

His bond is $5,000.

A $5,000 bond was also set for Robert Tucker, 28, who is charged with first degree trafficking in a controlled substance (cocaine) less than four grams.

The transfer is alleged to have occurred on May 21.

Tucker also faces a second degree persistent felony offender indictment.

A three-count indictment was handed down against Harold Stevens Jr., 29, who is charged with first degree trafficking in Oxycodone, 10 or more doses, and trafficking in heroin, less than two grams.

His charges stem from incidents alleged to have occurred on Aug. 20 and Sept. 12.

Stevens also faces a first degree persistent felony offender charge. His bond is $10,000.

Stevens is also listed as a co-defendant with Curtis Gampfer, 29, on the trafficking heroin first degree, first offense for the Sept. 12 sale or transfer of the Schedule I narcotic.

Co-defendants Thelma Stevens, 52, and Tony Cadle, 35, are charged with first degree trafficking of Oxycodone on March 20. Stevens has a second charge for an Aug. 22 incident.

On both occasions 10 or more dosage units were involved.

Adam Pulliam, 27, faces a two-count indictment on charges of possession of a controlled substance (heroin), first degree, first offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Pulliam’s charges stem from an Aug. 29 incident. His bond is $2,500.

A two-count indictment was handed down against 51-year-old Grant Howard.

Howard is charged with operating a motor vehicle while his license was revoked or suspended for driving under the influence, second offense with aggravating circumstances, and operating  motor vehicle while under the influence, third offense, with aggravating circumstances, refusal of breath tests.

The incidents for which Howard is charged allegedly occurred on Sept. 11. His bond is $2,500.

Daniel Cline, 36, is charged with an Aug. 29 to Oct. 11 fraudulent use of a credit/debit card.

Cline is accused of using a card belonging to Janice and James Moore to gain more than $500 and less than $10,000.

David Murphy, 33, is charged with flagrant non-support for his minor child and second degree persistent felony offender.

Kristin Hall, 32, was indicted on a charge of receiving stolen property less than $10,000.

The grand jury alleges that Hall possessed property that belonged to Mike McKinley.

Timothy Shepperd, 49, is accused of first degree assault.

The grand jury charges that on Sept. 13, Shepperd caused physical injury to Jason Nichols by means of a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument.

 His bond is $10,000.
