Hemp bill likely to wilt before House vote

Industrialized hemp bill faces a new snag with House Speaker Greg Stumbo speaking against the proposed senate bill.

According to a press release submitted by Stumbo’s office, the house speaker claimed that Kentucky already has framework for the crop in place and that a new bill will only delay Kentucky with the ability to grow the crop should it ever be legalized.
