HCMS Advance Band performs at Kentucky Music Educators 7th District Band Assessment

The Harrison County Middle School 7th and 8th grade Advance Band under the direction of Julie Lucky performed at the Kentucky Music Educators 7th District Band Assessment Tuesday, March 13. They performed Childhood Hymn by David Holsinger and Willow Creek Festival by Steve Hodges on the stage of the University of Kentucky Singletary Center for the Arts. The ensemble was assessed on criteria set forth by KMEA from the Fine Arts National Standards. They received the highest rating of Distinguished from each of the three adjudicators.
