HCHS Volleyball team looks to ‘pass’ to the top

The 2009 edition of the Harrison County High School volleyball team lacks a proven setter, and that may be the only ingredient missing from a team that could advance deep into the coming post-season.

“Our outside hitters and middle hitters are every bit as good as the best hitting teams we have had at Harrison County,” said Bill Faulkner, Fillies head coach since the inception of volleyball at HCHS. “Our only concern is how well we will be able to pass and set the ball… We lost some key players off last year’s team that we really relied on.”
