Continuing a tradition of powerful archery, the Harrison County High School and Middle School Archery teams brought home first place in the 8th Region archery competition.
The meet, which was held on Saturday in Independence at the Twenhofel Middle School, featured nine high school and nine middle school teams. (William H. Twenhofel is a famous geologist from Covington).
The regional meet requires teams to consist of no less than 16 members so the Harrison County teams, both middle school and high school, mixed elementary students into their teams.
