The Harrison County Board of Education voted unanimously Tuesday night to partially fund new baseball uniforms for the high school baseball team.
Harrison County High School Athletic Director Lee Kendall asked the board for $2,250, which will fund half of the 30 new uniforms.
Kendall presented board members with a graphic of the proposed uniform.
“It’s been at least ten years since the baseball team’s gotten new uniforms,” said Kendall, explaining that high school teams are placed on a rotation to receive new uniforms.
