Harrison County High School art students earned awards at the Kentucky Art Education Association’s Burley-Coal Regional Art Competition held at Morehead on March 16.
Shannon Howard took first place in fashion design for the second year in a row.
Ashlyn Techau earned a first place in photography.
Nickolas Slucher received an honorable mention in drawing.
Howard’s and Techau’s works will go on to All-State Competition.
An exhibit, reception and awards ceremony will be held at Dixie Heights High School on April 17.
