Harrison prisoners soon headed to Bourbon County

Topping of the agenda for the special Harrison County Fiscal Court meeting held on Monday, Feb. 13, was the issue of changing the detention center used to house Harrison County inmates.
Harrison County jailer Larry Turner was present at the meeting to inform the court that changes could be made to save money in the jail funds.
“We currently are using Grant County Detention Center to house most of our inmates; however, we have the opportunity to start using Bourbon County again,” said Turner.
