Traffic Cases
The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.
March 20 – At 10:40 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on Grover Criswell Road. David Baker was driving on Grover Criswell Road when his truck caught on fire. Baker fled the accident before authorities arrived.
April 4 – At 5:20 p.m., an injury accident was reported on KY 3003. Leandra Bryant rounded a curve and lost control sending her into a guardrail.
April 2 – At 5:07 p.m., an injury accident was reported on New Lair Road. Jennie Cox stopped at a stop sign on New Lair Road and reportedly pulled in front of a vehicle driven by Jennifer Valentine.
April 2 – At 6:34 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on Mt. Vernon Road. Tyler Smith struck mirrors with Paul Meyer at the top of a hill crest.
CASE REPORTS
March 29 – At 1:30 p.m., Cathy Slucher reported that someone had damaged her mailbox on Silas Road.
March 29 – At 5:44 p.m., Patricia Boyd-Huber reported that her son had been threatened by his friend’s ex-boyfriend.
March 31 – At 5:45 p.m., Luke Smith reported that someone used his credit card without permission in Florida.
April 2 – At 2 p.m., Remona Edenfield reported that someone had used her identity to obtain a cellphone.
April 1 – At 11 a.m., Kim Gaunce reported that someone had destroyed her mailbox on Shadynook Pike.
April 1 – At 3 p.m., Mike Fisher reported that someone had driven through his front yard and left damaging tire tracks.
April 2 – At 4:18 p.m., David Craycraft reported that someone had used his debit card account to make unauthorized purchases.
April 2 – At 10:15 a.m., Melissa Chapman reported that someone had used her card to make unauthorized purchases.
April 3 – At 7:01 p.m., Jerry Nichols reported that someone had stolen his Massy Ferguson 165 tractor from his property on Shadynook Pike.
CITATIONS
April 2 – At 10:18 a.m., a criminal summons was issued for Phillip Doolin, 51, for theft by deception including cold checks.
April 2 – At 3:19 p.m., Debra Earlywine, 46, was cited for speeding 10 miles over the speed limit.
April 3 – At 9:35 a.m., a bench warrant was served on Robert McElfresh, 23, for contempt of court and probation violation.
