The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.
March 6 – At 2:30 a.m., a non-injury accident was reported on Dividing Ridge Road. Billy Frazier rounded a curve and lost control causing him to drive into a small pond.
March 9 – At 7:54 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on US 62. Amber Powers was driving on US 62 when she encountered a deer in the road and was unable to keep from hitting the deer.
March 10 – At 4:42 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on US 27. Rachel Northcutt was traveling on US 27 when a vehicle in front of her slowed down to turn causing her to hit a ditch and go airborne before striking a road sign.
March 12 – At 9:29 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on US 27. Angye Switzer was driving on US 27 when she swerved to miss a deer and in doing so hit a mailbox.
March 8 – At 11:20 a.m., an injury accident was reported on US 62. Clarence Williams was driving on US 62 and missed his turn and pulled in front of a vehicle driven by Louis Knipper.
March 9 – At 12:40 a.m., Charles Huffman reported that someone took several tools from his barn located on Blake Lane.
March 10 – At 8:23 p.m., Zachary Damon reported that he had been receiving several harassing texts and calls from a past girlfriend.
March 12 – At 10 a.m., Minnie McKinney reported that Dish Network was threatening to shut off her cable due to an unpaid bill at a location that was not hers.
March 7 – Robert Dennis reported that someone broke into his garage and took two chainsaws, two air tools and a 100 foot extension cord.
March 1 – At 4 p.m., William Conley reported that Robert Fryman Jr. came to him for work and he paid him $50 and claimed Fryman never came back to do the work.
March 11 – At 12:45 p.m., Roy Copes reported that Berla Whitaker had been biten by a dog that belonged to Jeremy Hill.
March 12 – At 12:27 p.m., Kevin Harman reported that an ex-girlfriend filled a prescription and taken it without his permission.
March 11 – At 11:52 p.m., an arrest warrant was served on Jason Adkins, 24, for second degree burglary.
March 12 – At 2:36 p.m., an arrest warrant was served on Joshua Bell, 33, for second degree assault and third degree terroristic threatening.
March 12 – At 3:08 p.m., an arrest warrant was served on Brian Wasson, 22, for receiving stolen property under $10,000.
March 14 – At 1:05 p.m., a bench warrant was served on Paula Smith, 41, for being in contempt of court.
March 14 – At 1 p.m., a criminal summons was issued for Linda King, 45, for second degree possession of a forged instrument.
March 15 – At 10:15 a.m., Herbert Franklin, 60, was cited for expired tags and failure to produce an insurance card.
March 15 – At 11:30 a.m., a criminal summons was issued for James Franklin, 23, for harassment.
March 8 – At 2:15 p.m., a bench warrant was served on Susan Long, 50, for second degree of possession of a forged instrument.
March 10 – At 2:23 p.m., Crystal Cowan, 32, was arrested for fourth degree assault and operating on a suspended license.
