Feb. 18 -- At 5:05 a.m., a double injury accident occurred on US 27 N about 11 miles north of the city limits. Adam Grimm of 12659 US 27 was traveling south when he lost control of the car on the ice-covered highway. The car overturned on the driver’s side. A Pendleton County Ambulance discovered the collision, turned on its emergency lights and EMS personnel started giving aid. Minutes later, Jeffery Kiskaden of 413 KY 1744 came around a sharp curve, swerved to avoid the ambulance and ran off the road, striking Grimm’s empty car and forcing it on its roof.
Feb. 18 -- At 7 a.m. a non-injury accident occurred on KY 36 W 13 miles west of the city limits. Butler Lawrence of 12406 KY 36 W struck a deer.
Feb. 18 -- At 6:36 a.m., a non-injury accident happened 10 miles south of town on KY 1842 North. Brittany Arnold of 1812 Hicks Pike was traveling south when her car slid on the icy roadway, exiting the road and hitting a tree.
Feb 19 -- At 12 p.m., Joe Brogli of 2962 Poindexter Road reported that a cow was killed by two Great Danes. The cow was attacked in a field located on Robinson Union Road. The cow is owned by Shawn Ritchey and is valued at $1,400.
Feb. 19 -- At 2:46 a.m., Eric Peck of 550 New Lair Road reported that an unknown person entered his apartment through a bedroom window and stole a firearm and several electronics items.
Feb. 17 -- At 10:30 a.m., a summons was issued to Benjamin Kendall, 34, to answer a charge of disregarding a stop sign.
Feb. 19 -- At 9:30 a.m., an arrest warrant was executed against Stephanie Bruin, 35, of 104 Bruin Ave. on charges of fraudulent use of a credit card between $500 - 10,000 and second degree forgery.
