Traffic Cases
Dec. 4 -- At 7:11 a.m. a non-injury accident occurred on New Lair Road about a mile outside town. Kasey Moore hit a deer.
CASE REPORTS
Dec. 4 -- At 3:00 p.m., Tolbert Williams reported that someone made unauthorized transactions on his bank account to the Heritage Foundation.
Dec. 4 -- At 7:30 p.m., Carl Johnson reported that someone stole 22 side kit aluminum upright posts from his property.
Dec. 5 -- At 2:45 p.m., Marilyn Huffman reported  that she  was the apparent victim of identity theft regarding her 2013 Internal Revenue Service return.
CITATIONS
Dec. 3 -- At 4:22 p.m., Elza Miller, 57, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was involved in a non-injury accident on US 27 less than a mile from town. He lost control of his car and struck a road sweeper. He failed several sobriety tests and tested .175 on PBT.
Dec. 4 -- At 9:23 p.m., a bench warrant was executed against Timothy Bowman, 55, of Corinth on charges of possession of controlled substances without prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, no insurance, and failure to wear a seatbelt.
Dec. 4 -- At 2:23 p.m., Harold Stevens Jr., 29, was arrested on two charges - trafficking in heroin and trafficking in controlled substances.
